ScreenPad is a touchpad capable of sensing finger or hand hover. Shape detection and palm rejection is possible using the hover image. IrCube is an optical 6-DOF tracker system, which has a small form factor and can be implemented with a cheap cost. Shear, which has not been used so far, has a potential to make touch interaction more expressive. Additional two dimensional shear input can augment touch gestures or provide rate controlled input.
